L-Carnitine is an amino acid that plays many roles within the body. Studies exist in veterinary species that define its role with cardiovascular disease, for patients with carnitine deficiencies, inflammatory hepatitis (including hepatic lipidosis), obesity, myopathies associated with a carnitine deficiency, and cysteine or urate urolithiasis associated with carnitine deficiency.

Directions For Use
Dogs: 50 mg per kg, given orally, twice daily
Cats: 250 mg daily, given orally
Dosage may be doubled for additional support. Dosage may be modified as per your veterinarian.
